Cookie policy.

The short, honest answer: right now, this site sets no cookies at all. No third-party ad trackers, no analytics identifiers, no behavioral profiles. This page explains what cookies are, what we'd ever use them for, and how you stay in control.

01What cookies are.

A cookie is a small text file a website stores on your device when you visit.

Cookies let a site remember things between page loads or visits — like whether you've dismissed a banner, what's in your cart, or which language you prefer. They can also be used to track you across many websites for advertising. We don't do that.

The same idea applies to similar technologies like local storage, pixels, and tags. Wherever this policy says "cookies," treat it as covering those too.

02What we use them for.

Today: nothing. This site is fully static and works without storing anything on your device.

Browsing sproutlingconsulting.com sets no first-party cookies and loads no third-party trackers. The contact form submits without a session, our pages don't need login state, and we run no analytics scripts.

If that ever changes — for example, if we add a privacy-respecting analytics tool to understand which pages people find useful — we'll list every cookie it sets on this page, in the table below, before it goes live.

What we don't use. No advertising cookies. No social media trackers embedded in our pages. No data brokers. No cross-site tracking. No analytics identifiers. If any of this changes, this page changes first.

03The full list.

Every cookie we set, all in one place. Right now, that's an easy table to read.

One note on fonts: we load the Montserrat typeface from Google Fonts. Your browser requests the font files from Google's servers (which sees your IP address, like any web request), but the Google Fonts API does not set cookies.

04How to control cookies.

There's nothing to opt out of here today — but your browser always has the final say.

  • In your browser — every major browser lets you block, delete or limit cookies, per-site or globally. Look for "Privacy" or "Cookies" in your browser's settings.
  • Global Privacy Control (GPC) — if we ever add optional analytics, we will honor the GPC signal as an opt-out request.

Because we set no cookies, blocking them entirely won't break anything on this site.

06Changes & contact.

If we ever add or remove cookies, we'll update this page first and change the "Last updated" date at the top.
